Post No Bills brings together artists Richard Grace-Hughes, Gary Lindsay-Moore & Carl Cà mera (XONE_UK), with Ric Blackshaw as curator, around a shared fascination with the city as both canvas and archive.
Grace-Hughes moves between fashion, photography, constructed imagery & the visual histories of Soho & the street, shifting objects & images between contexts to question where artwork begins & where its environment ends.
Photographer Gary Lindsay-Moore has spent more than three decades capturing urban memory & industrial myth — the hidden atmospheres that cling to cities, buildings & the people who move through them.
Carl CÃ mera (XONE_UK)Â works at the intersection of tradition and rebellion. Classical calligraphy collides with raw urban graffiti across walls, cloth, clothing & concrete, reclaiming surfaces as places for individual expression.
Writer, gallerist, publisher & curator Ric Blackshaw has spent more than two decades championing artists who refuse to sit quietly, drawing connections between street culture, music, sampling, comics, graffiti, graphic design & illustration.
Together, Post No Bills isn’t concerned with putting street culture neatly inside a gallery.
It asks what happens when the gallery is the street, the stairwell, the concrete room, the clothing, the photograph — or simply wherever the work happens to land.
