SLUM GENTRY XXOX — SILK SCARF
Crafted in 100% silk georgette, the Slum Gentry XXOX scarf merges refined luxury with Strangely’s crooked visual language.
Crafted in 100% silk georgette, the Slum Gentry scarf merges refined luxury with Strangely’s crooked visual language. Developed in collaboration with Stitches by BOY XXOX, the piece reworks archival-style stamp graphics into a repeating silk print that drifts between luxury accessory and distressed street artefact. The layered composition carries the feel of overprinted paper, damaged ink and collected ephemera — fragments assembled and repeated until the pattern becomes its own visual language.
Printed onto lightweight silk georgette, the scarf moves fluidly while retaining the sharpness of the graphic detail. Equal parts decadent and disruptive, it reflects the shared aesthetic of both labels: damaged elegance, crooked beauty and romance pulled from decay.
Lightweight, sheer, and fluid, the 115 × 115 cm format allows for effortless styling—from loose drapes to structured wraps. Also available as a 40 × 40 cm pocket square for the forthcoming Squalere 167 tailoring line.
“Controlled composition. Deliberate disruption.”
